WHAT IS HAIRestart®?
Fotona’s HAIRestart® laser hair-growth solution is an effective method of treating hair loss disorders in men and women. This innovative solution is based on gentle, non-invasive laser stimulation of dormant hair follicles to regenerate the scalp and promote hair growth.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT LIKE?
The HAIRestart® procedure is well tolerated by patients, with minimal discomfort. There are several passes of the laser over the scalp during the treatment and patients feel only a slow and gradual heat build-up. There is some redness, which subsides in a few days, and there can be some slight delayed peeling of the skin. The duration of the treatment depends on the size of the affected area. In general it is about a 30 minute appointment.
